On the Cover of a Rolling Stone...

The Bushido was shocked to find my brother-in-law quoted in Rolling Stone magazine in the article, "Tupac in Baghdad: The Music Soldiers Take Into Battle". Honestly, I was reading an article in the car (which I hardly do because I get motion-sick reading in automobiles) reading an article that I normally wouldn't have read when I came across the following:

"I came over here with 1,700 songs," says Sgt. Jaime Williams, a twenty-one-year-old Oregon native based in Tikrit. "Now I have 5,000."

I was with my folks and I asked them, where is Jamie stationed? Momma Bushido said, "the Army won't tell us because it's classified." "Well," I replied, "Rolling Stone says, he is in Tikrit." I called "Little-E" to tell her to run out and pick-up the issue before the new one came out and to check page 22 for her husband's quote.

For inquiring minds: Jamie is back state-side settling in to his new digs with Erin, until the Army finds something else to maintain his time. I briefly spoke with him last night and he sounded glad to be back. Btw, to my delight, both of the Bushido's Bro-In-Laws (Logan and Jamie) are back State-Side, welcome home guys!
