NIE: National Intelligence Estimate and the Republican leadership runs for cover

With 43 days left before the mid-term elections the Republican leadership suffered a major hit tody as the Press released the NIE (National Intelligence Estimate) which found that the War in Iraq has, contrary to the popular Republican opinion and hat hanging, made America less safe. The NIE's findings are devastaing to the Republican Party members running on their assumption that this Administration had made this country safer. The NIE report should not be taken lightly as all sixteen intelligence agencies are accounted for in this report.

Fortunately, for many Republicans (read:non-Bushido readers) they will miss this report due to the return of the New Orleans Saints to the Superdome as well as the recent interview of former president Bill Clinton (following the Bushido Way) by Chris Wallace. End note: Is it me or is anyone else surprised this guy is the son of Mike Wallace?
