Gamecocks beat Ol'Miss 6 to 3
The University of South Carolina won the 2nd game in the 3 game match against Ol' Miss today. Trailing 3 to 1 in the 8th inning, Justin Smoak went long on the first pitch he saw marking his 7th homerun for the season. The next batter, Andrew Crisp went yard as well, hitting his second homerun in two games. (Crisp hit the game winning homer Friday night.) A series of errors by Ol Miss allowed the Cocks to score 5 runs in the bottom of the 8th and notch another win on their belt. The win today is the 11th for South Carolina in the SEC.
