After a hard day of work, or if you are lucky a hard day fishing, hunting, sporting, riding the couch or hanging ten on the keyboard, it is quite apropos to crack a cold one and relax-even better sharing a cold one with a friend, or in the case of the Dutch, sharing one with "man's best friend". Terrie Berenden a resident and pet-shop owner in Zelhelm, Netherlands wanted a cold one for her Weimaraners to enjoy after their yearly hunting trip.
Solution: Berenden created a non-alcoholic beer aptly named, Kwispelbier (Kwispel is Dutch for wagging a tail) made of beef extract and malt for her dogs. I guess the only obstacle now seems to be how to train your dog to grab a cold one for both of you from the fridge. Sounds "ruff"...but necessity is the mother of all invention.
