President and Co-Owner of the Charleston River Dogs Mike Veeck will speak tonight at the Charleston County Library (6:30 pm). Veeck will share his “Fun is Good” philosophy for success in the work place. Mel saw him a few months ago and said he was quite entertaining as well as informative. I have yet to read the book, but I did read about Veeck and his daughter in Sports Illustrated, so I have the gist of where he is headed. If you can’t make it, don’t worry. I will be at the library tonight and report back to you tomorrow.
