Coach Spurrier is downplaying the rivalry between Clemson and our beloved Gamecocks, but make no doubt that the other team still fears the Gamecocks. The last time USC went to Clemson Memorial the attached fight broke out; the Cocks lost 29-7, Holtz retired and the Visor took over. Although the Cocks lost with Spurrier at the helm last year, you should expect a win from Spurrier and the GameChickens this year, which will put this rivalry right back in prime position on Spurrier's list of teams USC has to beat on their schedule.
