Hitler's Gamecock Video

All right, so when Mel sent me this, I didn't want to post or watch this video of the changed sub-titles since we'd already posted the Cowboys' video. Well, that and I didn't want the folks in the next office to think that I was fuhrer fan, but this video is pretty funny and they don't misspell "lose" in this clip, so it was that much better. Funniest part-I'd say the Bobby Cremins' wigs from '93 that A.H. can only sell when the drag show comes to town. Quite clever, and I am sure there will be more schools jumping on board.

UNC Hosts Duke Tonight @ 9 PM

One of the greatest rivalries in college basketball resumes tonight as the Duke Blue Devils travel the eight miles down Tobacco Road to Chapel Hill to take on the Tarheels. Duke enters the game (19-1, 7-0) ranked No. 2 in the nation. UNC (21-1, 6-1) is No. 3.

Bad Blood
The last time these two teams met, Duke's Gerald Henderson came across the paint to throw a flying forearm into the face of UNC's Tyler Hansbrough. With a broken nose, Hansbrough would go to the dance wearing a face-mask, a memory still quite fresh in all of our minds.

Q-turnover
Much of the Tarheel faithful are quite concerned with the loss of point-guard Ty Lawson (high-ankle sprain). His replacement will be (gasp) Quinton Thomas (aka: "Q-Turnover"). But I think we can put these apprehensions to rest after watching Q look like he might know what he is doing during the Florida State game. Will Thomas morph into the player that we thought he might develop into? If this is any consolation, Thomas' stats vs Duke seem "optimistic": 29 minutes, 8 assists and only 1 turnover.

GO HEELS!

BSR: Primary Election Coverage: Romney's "Don't ask, don't tell" campaign

Pick-Up the Penny Kid, It Amuses Me!

And remember, Charity is good for the Soul, Vote for Romney you peasant!

Coach Bobby Knight Announces His Retirement

We could have posted one of Coach Knight's chair-throwing tantrums to celebrate his retirement, but we decided to go ahead with a more "neighborly" video. Here is the video of Bobby arguing with his neighbor after shooting at his neighbor's home. I am not sure if you call this arrogance or just a sociopath's behavior. But it is somewhat entertaining.

Laissez les bon temps rouler! today is Mardi Gras!

With two days (Sunday and Tuesday) in this week having such optimistic superlatives, I almost forgot that today is Mardi Gras! Which means now I have to come up with some last minute trapping to give up for Lent. Can someone remind me why Easter moves around on the calendar?

Sunday Hulk Hogan was King Bacchus-I am sure the folks down in NOLA took one look at the Hulkster in his boa and tights and thought, wow, its good to see someone really get into the spirit of Carnival and dress up for this. And Hulk Hogan was probably just thinking: "Its just another Sunday brother!" Be safe everyone!

BSR: Super Tuesday, Mitt Romney Says, "Vote For Me You Peasants!"

Look I don't care that Mitt Romney is Mormon. I don't care that he is rich and an apt business man. But I think this country has had enough hubris of the business-style of BushCo government. And now, Romney wants to tell me that the economy is doing great, because since the Market is down, there are a lot of great (stock) buys out there. Well, that would be great to hear if Mitt was my broker on the other end of the phone, but from a presidential candidate who is trying to appeal to the masses, I don't think the message "resonates" as well as he thinks. But does Mitt really care about the "peasants" beneath him in this country? Your answer is below. (Phot courtesy of ZDNET)

from CNN.com: January 25, 2008
"Well, I'm not concerned about the voters," Romney replied. "I'm much more concerned about the other guys on this stage. And we have some competitive information that we make sure that we use for our own benefit. But I can tell you this: I've raised more money than any other Republican in this race — raised more," he added. "Friends of mine have come together, people I knew in high school and helped raised money for me."

BSR: Super Bowl Ads: Will Ferrell's Bud Light Commercial

So, we had to pick a favorite and I think it is the "Will Ferrell Bud Light Commercial". Will Ferrell is promoting his new movie, "Semi-Pro" and giving us all a good laugh as he slings Bud Light during the big game, but will this next movie suck as bad as Blades of Glory? Or will it be as funny as his short films with Pearl? I guess we will have to wait until the end of the month to see.

Cash leans Left for Clinton, Daddy is leaning Left!

So my boy is young, he isn't even old enough to vote, but Cash wants Hillary Clinton to win the Democratic nomination. We discussed it and his reasons for wanting Hillary are as follows: 1) Our image across the globe is sh_crap and it needs repaired. Ironically, the only country that doesn't adore former President Bill Clinton is the United States, everyone else loves the guy. And with the Clintons (a vote for Hillary) you get a two for one deal. Bill could be the globe-trotting diplomat and Hillary could run the country. 2) Hillary is tough-she's taken her licks from the right-wing and survived, she's ready for round two. 3) Cash wants to vote for Hillary because he wants to see Buddy (the Clinton's Labrador) back in the press.

Cash said they are related, but I am not sure. Then again, they do say pets are a lot like their owners, so the wandering stud might not have fallen far from the tree. (Settle down Cash-he obviously didn't like the snark).

What A Ninja: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly of Mike Huckabee!

The Good (Well sorta)
Governor Huckabee was once fat and then got on the "hog-jog" program to get in shape to run marathons, but I think that was because he was buddies with a Democrat who got him off his largess and saved his life. Huckabee is supported by Carlos (aka: Chuck) Norris who does have a fantastic beard but in his last sitcom "Walker: Texas Ranger" Chuck's African-American side-kick's name was Midnight (not a racist bone in Chuck's body though-right?) because as we all know, a 150-pound Asian man named Bruce Lee kicked Chuck's arse in Game of Death.

The Bad (Hating on the Gays)
Governor Huckabee said last night during the debate (paraphrasing here) that he could not dream of thinking what Reagan would think of the Republican Party today, but he would hope that he was leading in Reagan's spirit. Or something to that effect. (If you have the exact quote, by all means, add it in the comment's section-my modest apathy prevents me from Googling or researching it). I digress; so if I am keeping score correctly Huckabee believes that the Constitution is easier to change (and should be to reflect) than God's living word. So let me see if I have this right, Huckabee can interpret both the US Constitution and God's living word, but can't imagine what Reagan would think of the Republican Party? Seriously? Perhaps Reagan (who sits 2nd chair to the right of the father in Republican mythology) would come to terms with Ronald Jr being light in the loafers and follow some of those true Christian values: brotherly love, not judging others, etc. and let the homosexuals have their ceremonies or at least civil unions in every state except for Mitt (Mr. Family Values) Romney's state.

The Ugly (Hating on the Blacks)
Here in South Carolina we try our best to maintain "heritage and hate" on a low-key level: you know, your garden variety Confederate flag stickers on windows of jacked-up 4-wheel drives, bandannas of red-neck bikers and the old stars and bars hanging from the front-yard flag-poles of white folks who are still pretty damn proud that their great-great-grandfather got his ass kicked. Hell, we even have a small Confederate sign (SCV) at the base of the Ravenel Bridge as you come into the Holy City-I guess it means: "welcome black folks, do y'all remember the good ol' days?"

And as you all know, there was quite a debate almost a decade ago about that "third flag" flying above the Statehouse up in Columbia. I thought we came to a certain level of comity on both sides of the issue and other than a half-baked boycott by the NAACP, I thought it was pretty much a forgotten issue, that perhaps in my little pocket of the land of the free, it was a moot point. But wait, the Repubs had a debate in Myrtle Beach on the 17th and obviously someone was bound to say something "sofa-king" stupid that we would be embarrassed all across the great Palmetto State. You know something along the lines of "You don't like people from outside the state coming in and telling you what to do with your flag," Huckabee announced to a group of supporters in Myrtle Beach, "In fact, if somebody came to Arkansas and told us what to do with our flag, we'd tell them what to do with the pole, that's what we'd do." (JEEBUS! Did that just come from the right-honorable Christian gentleman from Arkansas? Does he really praise his Lord and Savior with that mouth?)

And then just in case you didn't catch the first time, Huckabee slipped on down to Flo-Town to refresh our memories with, "I know what would happen if somebody comes to my state in Arkansas and tells us what to do, it doesn't matter what it is, tell us how to run our schools, tell us how to raise our kids, tell us what to do with our flag — you want to come tell us what to do with the flag, we'd tell them what to do with the pole." (Jeebus, Broseph, and Larry! What a ninja, he didn't just say it once but twice!) Quote Source: CNN.com)

What Made Hitler So Delusional?

And all this time I thought B-Rad and Dallas took it hard when the Dallas Cowboys lost a game, but as we see, they aren't the only ones. Here is a brilliant job of video editing of Hitler losing his cool after the Cowboys lost their playoff game against the Giants. Thanks to B-Rad for finding this gem.

"Politics Is Hollywood For Ugly People"

And that friends is why John "Handsome" Edwards was forced to drop out of the Presidential Race today. I am sorry Senator Edwards, but the Bushido loves where your head is at: we know that you would have done well by the middle-class and the working poor of this country but you are just too damn handsome to be prez. But don't worry Bubba, we still love you and if you ever happen to have an extra ticket (err, make that two-Blackie wants to come too) for a Heels game drop me, uhh, us-sorry Goose, a line and we'll make the drive to Chapel Hill.

Does anyone else think that he might get tapped again as veep? (Photo courtesy of dailyinsider.com)

Brad Paisley on ACL tonight!

Country singer-songwriter, Brad Paisley (link to his You-Tube site) will perform on Austin City Limits tonight. Brad is known for his tongue-in-cheek hits along side his more serious songs, normally as a duet with legends of the business. Catch Brad Paisley on ACL tonight or set your Ti-Vo, because I am sure it will be "time well wasted".

Here is the link to his video "Celebrity"-quite humorous. Sorry I couldn't get any of his videos, but the "Embedding (was) disabled by request".

NAIAS: This is a Mazda

Mazda unveiled their new concept car, the ethanol-powered 450-horsepower rotary engine Mazda Furai (sound of the wind) and on par with the concept of “Nagare” (flow) in automotive design. I'm not sure about Mazdas but this ride looks down right sexy!

The NAIAS Kicks Off Today! To Celebrate I Give You the Bugatti Veyron!

The North American International Auto Show kick off today and to help celebrate the Bushido gives you the world's fastest production car (with a million-dollar price tag and a top speed of 253 mph) the Bugatti Veyron. With 10-radiators to keep things running cool, and a 16-cylinder engine with 4 turbochargers kicking out 1,101 lbs of horse, as you will see in this video clip, it even let Top Gears' James Mays (aka: Capt. Slow) become a driving god!

Friday Funnies: Ferris Bueller Did It and Now This Aussie Has Too!

Risky Business
Here’s the set-up, a kid in Melbourne, Australia named Corey Delaney throws a party whilst his folks are on holiday, the cops show up with a helicopter and a dog unit to crash the party, naked people run down the street, cars have bricks in their windows and Mr. Delaney gets an interview before telling his parents about the $20,000 fine they are about to receive. The best thing about the interview apart from Delaney’s nipple ring and “Big Bird” glasses is Delaney’s inability to be contrite. Is this really apropos for a Friday Funny? No, because when you think about it, this really isn’t funny, or maybe it is; regardless, it is worth a watch.

Friday Funnies: Movie Trailer For Strange Wilderness

Starring Steve Zahn, Allen Covert, Jonah Hill, Ashley Scott and produced by Happy Madison, this movie looks like it will be well worth the price of admission. The laughing shark scene at the end of this clip is hilarious.
Random: I saw Ernest Borgnine is on the list of credits. Wait, I thought he died when the actual helicopter used in Air Wolf crashed, it seems I was wrong.

Hello, My Name is Johnny Cash!

I planned on waiting to get a new puppy, a Newfie, and name him "Cash" but since I have become a believer in "signs" and despite initially wanting to wait until after my birthday to get a new addition to my family, when RT told me that someone needed to adopt "Johnny Cash" I said, "Let me meet him, if he likes me, then he's mine". I went out and got a crate, a sh_crap ton of chew able toys, puppy chow, a dog bed, collar and leash and then set off to meet him. A lot to get together before knowing if he'd even like me-I know-but like I said, it was a sign.

When he first met me, he gave me a ton of puppy kisses and then peed on me. And honestly, I was just as excited to bring him home, except for returning the peeing favor, we made it home and started to get to know one another. Luckily, Uncle Craig and Uncle Brad said they would help me with letting him out from his crate during the day-which is a blessing. I'll keep you posted on his progress with future "Lab Reports".
